Ultrasonic disperser is to directly place the particle suspension to be treated in the ultrasonic field and “irradiate” it with high-power ultrasonic, which is a highly intensive dispersion method. First of all, the propagation of ultrasonic wave needs to take the medium as the carrier. The propagation of ultrasonic wave in the medium has an alternating period of positive and negative pressure. The medium is squeezed and pulled under the positive and negative pressure of colloid.

When ultrasonic wave acts on medium liquid, the distance between medium molecules in the negative pressure zone will exceed the critical molecular distance that the liquid medium remains unchanged, and the liquid medium will break, forming microbubbles, which will grow into cavitation bubbles. Bubbles can be dissolved in the gas again, or they can float up and disappear, or they may collapse away from the resonance phase of the ultrasonic field. The occurrence, collapse or disappearance of cavitation bubbles in a liquid medium. Cavitation will produce local high temperature and high pressure, and generate huge impact force and micro jet. Under the action of cavitation, the surface of nano powder will be weakened, so as to realize the dispersion of nano powder.

Here are the precautions for the use of ultrasonic disperser:

1. No no-load operation is allowed.

2. The water depth of the horn (ultrasonic probe) is about 1.5cm, and the liquid level is better than 30mm. The probe should be in the middle and not stick to the wall. Ultrasonic wave is a vertical longitudinal wave. It is not easy to form convection when it is inserted too deep, which affects the crushing efficiency.

3. Ultrasonic parameter setting: set the working parameters of the instrument. For samples (such as bacteria) that are sensitive to temperature requirements, ice bath is generally used outside. The actual temperature must be lower than 25 degrees, and protein nucleic acid will not denature.

4. Container selection: select as many beakers as there are samples, which is also conducive to the convection of samples in ultrasound and improves the crushing efficiency. For example; A 20mL beaker is better than a 20mL beaker. For example, the setting parameters of 100ml coliform sample: ultrasonic 5 seconds/interval 5 seconds for 70 times (the total time is 10 minutes). The power is 300W (for reference only), about 500ML, and about 500W-800W.
