Ultrasonic sound intensity measuring instrument is a kind of equipment specially used to measure ultrasonic sound intensity in liquid. The so-called sound intensity is the sound power per unit area. The sound intensity directly affects the effects of ultrasonic mixing, ultrasonic emulsification, ultrasonic dispersion and so on.

The sound intensity meter uses the positive piezoelectric characteristic of piezoelectric ceramics, that is, piezoelectric effect. When we apply a force to a piezoelectric ceramic, it can convert the force into an electrical signal. If the magnitude of the force changes periodically, the piezoelectric ceramic outputs an AC voltage signal with the same frequency.
