Why use an ultrasonic disperser?

Nanomaterials are widely used across various industries due to their superior properties. Producing high-quality nanomaterials requires overcoming two difficulties: the refinement of nanomaterials (nanoparticles) and the phenomenon of nanomaterials (nanoparticles) agglomeration in solvents.

The ultrasonic nanomaterials disperser utilizes the powerful shear force of a vibrating probe to refine raw material particles and break down inter-particle agglomeration, ensuring complete integration or uniform distribution within the solvent. Another advantage of the ultrasonic nanomaterials disperser is its excellent solvent compatibility; it can operate in solvents such as water, oil, and resin.

The powerful penetrating force generated by ultrasonic vibration overcomes limitations related to material viscosity, enabling the dispersion of low-viscosity materials, high-viscosity materials, and mixtures of liquids with varying viscosities.

How does an ultrasonic disperser work?

To refine and disperse nanomaterials such as graphene, carbon nanotubes, battery slurry, silver nanoparticles, silica, and rare earth raw materials, cosmetics, food, medicine etc. extremely strong shear forces are required. We typically insert the ultrasound rod into a small reaction chamber(flow cell) to concentrate the strongest energy. Liquids flow in from the bottom of the flow cell and out from the top of the flow cell via a pump, when the liquid in the flow cell, it processed by the ultrasonic rod. Flow cells are usually connected in series, and the number of flow cells can be increased or decreased depending on the different materials and processing time. Hangzhou Precision Machinery provide the ultrasonic nanomaterials disperser from lab scale to industrial production line.

The processing capacity of ultrasonic nanomaterials dispersers varies across different industries.

Graphene and carbon
nanotubes are about 50L/H.
Battery slurry is about
80L/H
Silver nanoparticles are
about 100L/H
Cosmetics are about
300L/H
Food and beverage is about
500L/H

The Advantages Of An Ultrasonic Disperser:

Rapid and efficient particle refinement.

Nanoemulsions are evenly distributed and does not easily separate into layers.

Can increase the solid content in nanomaterials.
