The main application of ultrasonic dispersion in slurry industry is to disperse and refine various components of the ceramic slurry.The force of 20,000 times per second generated by ultrasonic vibration can reduce the size of various components of pulp and slurry.

The size reduction increases the contact area between the particles and the contact is closer, which can significantly increase the toughness of the paper,more likely to be bleached and prevent watermarks and breakage. Ultrasonic is a widely used technique for reliable and efficient dispersion and deagglomeration of ceramic particles. Formulations of ceramic slurries must be properly mixed to obtain full wetting and dispersibility. Ultrasonic shear forces enable for the processing of highly viscous slurries and composites on industrial scale.
